I was the Project team lead and Design Consultant for the successful Discovery and Design of the Queensland Health ‘recruitment model’, to provide an optimised recruitment process for all QH ‘Department of Health (DoH)’ staff (and designed to be scalable beyond the DoH).
The project, delivered for the QH ‘Human Resources Advisory Services (HRAS)’ team (owners of the recruitment process) allows all QH staff (especially ‘Hiring Managers’) to use a streamlined recruitment process that is simple, clear and efficient, increasing time-to-hire and thus the overall candidate experience.
Delivery of the work involved workshopping business and user requirements with QH stakeholders and staff, deep dives, documentation of requirements, journey mapping, visual designs for the new QH Intranet Recruitment site, and writing a final handover document and roadmap for implementation.
My roles
- Project Lead
- Business Consulting (Discovery, workshopping and interviews, Business Analysis, requirements gathering, report writing)

The standard Telstra Purple delivery methodology was used as the process to deliver this project, using a combination of the following:
- Double-Diamond design process (first diamond only)
- Agile Scrum Methodology
- Dual-track Delivery
- Learn > Build > Measure > Repeat
